In other words, the FSSAI was made the only department in the entire country that could oversee food safety and quality standards across the country. Today, all food manufactures are required to get FSSAI license, in order to operate in the market.

    What will happen if forget to renew FSSAI / FOOD License?

    In case of forgetting to make a renewal of a food license, you have to pay a penalty of Rs. 100 per day within the specified validity time. Following that, your existing food license can be cancelled and need to apply for a fresh license.
